Please join us Tuesday, Dec. 6, from 6-7 p.m. in the McCaleb Conference Center of the Hunter Welcome Center for a NEXT Lab town hall and Q&A featuring an update on ACU’s exciting nuclear research and the construction of the Dillard Science and Engineering Research Center.
This 28,000-square-foot facility will allow students, especially undergraduates, to contribute to world-class research and groundbreaking technology in ways not available at most other universities. It also will bring scientists from other universities and organizations to Abilene to utilize this unique space, which will feature a 6,000-square-foot research bay with a 25-foot-deep by 80-foot-long shielded trench and a 40-ton crane.
