The lives you change

ACU students are remarkable, and many of them wouldn't be able to attend school without the support of dedicated donors. Here are some of their stories.

Armani Guillama (’18) | Psychology

“ACU is more than just a university; it’s a family.”

Lauren Skelton (’17) | Biology

“I’m so thankful for my donors and all that they do. I hope I am someday able to give back to the university in the same way.”

De’Andre Brown (’18) | Kinesiology

“I am forever grateful for this opportunity. Thank you to my donors, and I promise that you didn't waste a single cent on me.”

Jesse Leon (’17) | Political Science

“I get so excited when people come to visit because I can [help] them fall in love with ACU, and it’s like I fall in love with ACU all over again.”

Abbey Moses (’17) | Pre-Law Political Science

“Scholarships are so important and can truly change the life of a student in need. I’m thankful for the support I receive, and I know that in the future, I’ll be able to give back to scholarships for students.”

Cydnee Baker (’16) | Math Education

“At one point, I was on the verge of having to transfer out because I couldn’t pay for school. But God made a way: I received a scholarship increase. I’m so thankful to ACU’s donors and want them to know their money isn’t being wasted.”

Andrew Bullard (’17) | Theatre

“I’m extremely thankful for my scholarships. They help me do what I’m able to do, and I love every minute of it. I wouldn’t trade any second away from the time I’ve had here to cultivate my work as an artist for anything.”

Kimberly Lamadrid (’17) | Psychology

“I love the community. It’s not small, but it’s small enough to meet a lot of people. I think it’s really cool that after so many years, the school has maintained so many traditions."
